Preceded in death by parents Jean and Edna Mae Maddox-Bowman and stepfather Bill Bowman, and brothers Gary and Willis.
Dennis was born on April 30th, 1957, in Enid, OK. He graduated from Ringwood High School in 1976. He attended college at Weatherford. He moved to Norman and worked for OU Plumbing.
Dennis married Jan Brown in 1985.
He is survived by wife Jan Maddox, daughter Chandra and husband Justin Davis, along with granddaughter Taylor, and her husband Nathan Loyd.
Dennis loved camping, boating, and making knives and swords.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life later in September of this year.
