Donna Jean Connor was born on March 4, 1956, in Fresno, California, to Thomas Ray Pearce and Lois Louise (Sullivan) Pearce. She passed away on September 28, 2025, in Norman, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of her family.
Donna’s life was dedicated to caring for others. She earned her Certified Nurse Aide certificate and worked as a home health aide for most of her life, finding joy and purpose in helping people. She was proud of her hard work and the independence she achieved by graduating high school, receiving her certification, and raising her family with devotion and love.
Over the years, Donna lived in many places that shaped her story. She was born in Fresno, moved to Alabama in the early 1970s, and later returned to Riverdale, California, in 1981. In 2000, she retired to Oklahoma, where she built a warm and welcoming home. She loved country music and favored the color mauve, but her happiest days were spent outdoors, barbecuing with her family and swimming. She had a gift for making her yard beautiful with flowers, and she enjoyed collecting pretty things that brought her joy.
Donna was known for her incredible work ethic, her organizational skills, and her unwavering support for her family, both mentally and physically. Her brother Donald’s silliness always made her laugh, and her love for family shone through every part of her life. She will be remembered for the endless love and encouragement she gave to her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Lolanda Fay Moore of Hartselle, Alabama, and Kevin Lee Henderson of Alex, Oklahoma; her brothers, Calvin Ray Pearce of Alex, Oklahoma, and Donald Wayne Pearce of Alex, Oklahoma; her sisters, Debra Lynn Weeks of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Tina Marie Taylor of Susanville, California, Tammy Annette Kimbriel of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Lisa Richelle Sullivan of Yukon, Oklahoma. She leaves behind six grandchildren, Thantasia Wood, Tristan Moore, Kevin J. Henderson, Dylan Henderson, Emma Henderson, and Faith Henderson; two great-grandchildren, Violet Wood and Penny Wood; four nieces; fourteen nephews; and her three beloved fur babies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lois Pearce.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Service. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Primrose Funeral Service Chapel. A graveside service will take place after the service at Dibble Cemetery in Dibble, Oklahoma.
Donna will be remembered for her dedication, her laughter, her beautiful spirit, and most of all, the love she poured into her family and friends.
