Dwaine was and is a good man and friend. I had the pleasure of spending time with Dwaine doing what he liked most, playing golf. He was a funny and chatty guy that liked to joke and have a good time. I did not see much of him over the years be he will be missed. RIP

Dwaine was a very kind person and knew no strangers. He was always willing to help. He was more like a brother but a great brother in law. I will miss him dearly! Rest in peace until I see you again.

Dad-
You are going to be missed more than you’ll ever know. So many stories have been shared in the past week about you and they have comforted us as we remember the goof ball you were. You were a kid at heart and never wanted to stop having fun. Now I know you are golfing without pain, eating cheeseburgers without concern, and probably sipping a margarita! I’m sad for the moments in our lives that you won’t be here for, but I know you’ll be watching them all. You will be missed but definitely not forgotten.
Love you-Angela

My favorite memory with my Papa, was when he would take all of us grandchildren down to the lake place that he and Grandma owned, we would take the three wheeler down and ride through the forest. We would go swimming in the lake and we would fish. When we woke up in the morning he would always give me some coffee and tell me “It’ll put some hair on your chest”
I will miss him so much, love you Papa

Dwaine has been a part of our family for so many years now. He was the guy at family gatherings that would sit and talk with everybody and make us all laugh. He would even take the time to talk and play with the kids and make them feel special. That’s something that always stood out to me and meant a lot. Dwaine was great man who meant so much to each and every one of us and will be truly missed. We love you and will see you again someday.
Love,
Jamie

Dwaine I thank you for coming into Janet's life. You also became a part of our family and you added so much joy and love! Janet has been my best friend for over 50 years and had some rough times. When she met you, you changed her life. You were her knight in shining armour. She loved you so much and you made her so happy. I remember that time so well. All of my family loved you too. We had many good times together. I'm so thankful for so many memories. You will forever be in our hearts as we gather and you are not here with us, but your memory will always be with us. We will never forget your sweet smile. RIP sweet soul. We love you.

I always looked forward to seeing Dwaine at get-togethers. He always had an ornery grin and a great story to tell. Although we weren't kin to one another, he was always kind to me and made me feel like family.

Rest in peace, my friend.
