

Mr. Kirschner was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict.
He loved his family and treasured his friends. During his life, Ed worked as a bricklayer and enjoyed working with his hands. He was known to be hard worker with incredible work ethic.
Ed’s faith was shown through his time spent outdoors, enjoying the Lord’s handiwork. He enjoyed road trips with his family and “spontaneous vacations.” He loved his ice cream. He also loved taking his children to look at Christmas lights.
He is survived by his wife, Cherry; four children: Alice (Robert) Root, Bertha (Glen) Symes, Linda (Jimmy) Frost, and Tony Kirschner; grandchildren: Brian (Kristina) Root, Matt Root, Cory (Heidi) Symes, Justin (Tinisha) Symes, Jennifer (Max) Collum, Emily (Michael) Barnes, Rebecca (Chris) McCoy, Skylur Kirschner; great-grandchildren: Alisha, Kaitlin, Lauren, Alicen, Kyle, Tyler, Trever, Tory, Reagan, Camille, Faith, Seth, Luke, Noah, Baby Collum, Levi, Landon, Loralei; his morning coffee friends at Denver Corner, and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, William D. Kirschner and his brother Don Kirschner.
