Ellen Adaline Meiser

Adaline Jansing Meiser passed away in Norman, Oklahoma on February 22, 2015. She was born June 1, 1921 in Norman, OK. The first of five children born to George L. Jansing and Nora (Higdon) Jansing. She graduated from St Joseph’s High School in 1939. She married her beloved husband, Bernard Meiser November 8, 1945. They were both long-time members of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother to her family. Adaline was also a member of St. Joe’s Women’s Club and St. Cecilia’s Sewing Club.

Adaline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard Meiser; brothers James Jansing and George Jansing, Jr.; and sister, Agatha Schader. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Chilless, and Becky Shaw and husband Danny; granddaughter Trae Palmer; and great granddaughter Camillia Palmer; sister, Katherine LeBlanc and husband Bob; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their thanks to Grace Living Center, Bridges, for the compassionate care of their mother. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you donate to a charity of your choice.

Wake service will be held 7pm Wednesday at Primrose Funeral Service. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Thursday at St. Joseph’s, with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
