Eva spent part of her life in Schertz, Texas, before making her home in Norman. She was married to David Perry, who preceded her in death in 1979.
Eva found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She was an avid reader and a wonderful cook, a talent she lovingly passed down to her family. Some of her happiest moments were spent gathered with those she loved, sharing good food, conversation, and time together. She also had a deep appreciation for classical music and especially enjoyed the works of Beethoven.
Above all, Eva treasured her family. The lessons she shared, particularly in the kitchen, will continue to be carried on by those who loved her.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, David Perry; her parents; her sister, Barbara Spaulding; and her brother, Kenneth Spaulding.
Those left to cherish Eva’s memory include her son, Christopher Perry of Edmond, Oklahoma; her siblings, Mary Armstrong of Norman, Richard Spaulding and wife Susan of Choctaw, and Carl Spaulding of Stillwater; as well as other loving family members and friends.
Eva will be remembered for the time she devoted to her family, the traditions she shared, and the many memories created around the table and at home. Her love and influence will remain a treasured part of her family’s lives for generations to come.
