Frances Johanna Farris

Her family moved to Norman when she was twelve and she graduated from Norman High School in 1960.

Frances married Glen Lea Farris on September 30, 1960. Together they had two children, Lisa and Mark.

Frances worked for the Norman Public School System, working mostly in the kitchen back when food was actually served to the schools directly from the high school. When the food system changed, she became a teacher’s aide, where she enjoyed working with the children of Washington Elementary. Frances was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Norman. Contributions are welcomed there in her honor.

Frances was preceded in death by the love of her life, Glen Lea Farris; and her parents.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Willingham and husband Mike of McLoud; son, Mark Farris and wife, Mitzi of Norman; grandchildren, Christopher Allan and Cory James Williams, both of Edmond, Tyler Glen, Meghan Michelle, and Macy Alexandra Farris all of Norman; great-grandchildren Alexander Michael Williams and Madison Linn Williams. She is also survived by her siblings John Edward Holasek of Houston, TX and Florence Marie Daller of Dickinson, TX; and many other family members of the Holasek, Rosello-Farris families.

Honorary pallbearers are Christopher William, Cory Williams and Tyler Farris.
