Francisca Lombe-Ngonge

Francisca lived in many different places throughout her life, including Kumba Cameroon, Austell, Georgia, and Norman Oklahoma. Gospel music was the sound of her heart and she loved the color blue. It was always a good day when she was smiling and even when she saw others smile. Francisca loved being around family and friends and would always laugh, not at them but for sure with them. Francisca wants to be remembered by the legacy left behind, and wants everyone to know that her most personal accomplishment was raising eight beautiful and smart kids. She enjoyed watching them all do good in their various paths of life and work. Francisca was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon Kumba town. She was also a member of CWF (Christian Women Fellowship). Francisca married Ngonge Zacheus Akumbele, they spent 20 beautiful years together before his passing in November of 1997.

Francisca is preceded in death by her late husband; Ngonge Zacheus Akumbele, parents; Clement and Margaret Alobwede, brother in laws; Joachim Apuwah and Richard Ngwese.

Left to cherish her memory are her eight children; Flora Mesang Ngom (Moume) of Norman, Don-Pedro N. Ngonge (Roseline) of San Antonio, TX, Stella M. Ashu-Egbe (Lawrence) of Kumba Cameroon, Lordswill A Ngonge (Francisca) of Copenhagen Denmark, Lillian Epenza Abunaw (Ernest) of Norman, Nelson Mbella Ngonge of Alberta Canada, Mercy N. Ngonge of Copenhagen Denmark, and Pamela N. Njungwe of El-Paso, TX, brother; John Alobwede (Elizabeth) of Kumba Cameroon, sisters; Agnes Apuwah of Bangem Cameroon and Regina E. Ngwese of Tombel Cameroon, 27 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; Ngonge Sumelong, Ngonge Kelly-Marris, Vannessa Ngom, Roland Ngom, Brandon Ashu-Egbe, Brayon Ashu-Egbe, Telma Ashu-Egbe, Tega Ashu-Egbe, Gina Ngonge, Chester Ngonge, Karl Ngonge, Faith Ngonge, Caitlyn Ngonge, Lordslove Ngonge, Lordswill Ngonge, Francisca Ngonge, Tabi Abunaw, Ashu Abunaw, Semlong Abunaw, Channel Ngonge, Nelen Ngonge, Lordswill Kwo, Kaylia Kwo, Nelson Kwo, Jolie Njungwe, Eric Njungwe, Annibel Njungwe, Vivian Njabe, Loveline Apuwah, Pueeta Apuwah, Maureen Ngwese, Stella Ngwese, Nadia Alobwede, nieces; snera Alobwede, Lesline Alobwede and Mesang Alobwede, nephews; Akode Lionel Alobwede, Hope Alobwede, and Alobwede Nkwelle.

A visitation for Francisca will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Primrose Funeral Service.
