Gayla & I have been friends for about 40 yrs. Our families spent a lot of time together over the years. I have so many fond memories of Gayla! We had a lot of fun going to the OU football games, camping & all the family get togethers over the years. So glad I got to spend quality time with you, Gayla, these past few months. We even managed to go out to lunch & do a little shopping too, which we both loved to do! I sure am going to miss you sweet friend!!!! Heaven has gained an angel..... 😇😘💖

Gayla and I had so much fun in high school. We then each got married and lost touch with each other, even though we lived in the same town of Norman. We then found each other as both of our oldest daughters went to the same school and became Brownies. We had such fun helping our daughters turn into the great women they are today. We then lost touch again but always met up later in mid 80's. It was as if we never lost touch. Gayla was such a loving wonderful woman. She will be missed. Love you Gayla

I am Gayla's oldest grandchild and I will sure miss her the most. I remember when we were all here for the wedding shower and wedding. It was so fun! But now she is in a much better place but I will still miss her so so much!❤

She was very loving and accepting of others. I remember several times going to her house during softball season. She and her husband were very supportive of Crimson storm softball
