

George Allen Lamprecht, passed away on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023, in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 70. We will hold a memorial service on April 1, 2023, at Primrose Funeral Home on North Porter in Norman, Oklahoma.
George was born September 13, 1952, to George Wilfred Lamprecht and Bonnie Jean Kendall Hilton. He moved to Norman shortly after he was born in Oklahoma City and continued to live there until his death.
He graduated from Norman High School in 1970 and continued his education at Spartan Aviation in Tulsa. He joined the Army National Guard in Lexington, Oklahoma, and he served a tour overseas. George was raised in 1990 as a Master Mason in Norman Masonic Lodge.
He worked at Gulfstream and later Rockwell International building and repairing their planes. He also taught air-a-mechanics at Metro-Tech. George was also a teacher at the postal training school. Most recently George hauled oil field equipment for several different companies. He married Debra Jean Miller in 1983 in Norman, Oklahoma. With this union they had two children Melissa Grace Lamprecht and Wesley Allen Lamprecht.
George had several hobbies, including Fishing, going to the air shows at Oshkosh and of course,
playing with all of his grandchildren which he was very proud of. He always got very excited just talking about how much they were all changing and getting so big.
George was preceded in death by his parents George and Bonnie Lamprecht, his maternal grandmother Myrtle Kendall. All of his Aunts and Uncles on both sides, and a nephew Steven Michael Morren.
He is survived by his daughter Melissa Grace McLennan, of Shawnee her four boys, Dylan, Logan, Marley, and Camron, His son Wesley Allen Lamprecht and his wife Tami and their two boys Forrest and Harvey of Tecumseh. His sister Debbie McDaniel and her husband Gene of Norman, their children Dennis Morren and family. Emily Watt and her husband Gregg and family, and Gary and Sherri McDaniel and many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
In Lieu of flowers please give to the American Heart Association, to research the cause and cure of Aortic Aneurysms, or a favorite charity/ Church of your choice.
