Gloria Jean Calvert

Gloria Jean Calvert was born on August 12th, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Bertha Bernice (Wheeler) Stephenson and Edward George Stephenson and passed away on June 19th, 2026 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was Married to Leo Marshall Calvert in Norman, Oklahoma for 64 years. Gloria was retired from the University of Oklahoma as a Purchasing Clerk. Gloria loved her children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren who all lovingly referred to her as "Mema". She enjoyed bowling, having participated in many leagues over the years and had a love of Hunting and fishing with her father as well as a love of flowers and cardinals.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Edward Stephenson, & sister, Wanda Brown. She is survived by her husband Leo Calvert, daughter Kathy Speaks, two sons Jeff Calvert & Jon Calvert. Her grandchildren Corey Calvert, Shelby Calvert, Gabe Speaks, Bryan Calvert, Jessica Shirey, Cailee Calvert, Madyson Calvert. Her great-grandchildren Riley Dodge, Danielle Hasse, Hudson Calvert, & Jedidiah Shirey.

Gloria is survived by many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Jeff Calvert, Jon Calvert, Corey Calvert, Bryan Calvert, Gabe Speaks, Daniel Hasse.

Visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Service, 3901 N Flood Ave., Norman, OK 73069, US, on June 29, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Primrose Funeral Service, 3901 N Flood Ave., Norman, OK 73069, US, on June 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
