Harold Wayne McGregor

Harold Wayne McGregor, age 95 was born on September 13th, 1930 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Mack Daniel McGregor and Effie Rae (Bland) McGregor. He passed away peacefully at his home in Norman, Oklahoma on September 4th, 2026. Harold will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He will be remembered as a loving Father, Grandfather (Gpa), Great Grandfather (Papa) and an ever so faithful friend. His generous spirit, determination, and his love for his family will live on in the hearts of many. He was definitely a leader to many men and women during the 3 careers he had. His real joy was always family though.

From having get-togethers at the house to the family reunions or events at school and holidays. He cherished his children, grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. He believed in and taught us the value of a strong work ethic, self discipline, taking initiative and being determined. He impacted many lives, in the family as well as outside the family. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit, his lessons and his love will remain with us always.

Harold is survived by his daughter Cheryl McGregor of Norman, sons, Darrell McGregor of Maysville, Joe McGregor and wife Christine (Skelly) McGregor of Norman, 5 grandchildren, Nickolas McGregor and wife Danielle of Newcastle, Brittany (McGregor) Deskin and Aubray of Maysville, Samuel McGregor of Purcell, Timothy McGregor of Edmond and Isabel McGregor of Edmond plus 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Service, 3901 N Flood Ave., Norman, OK 73069, US, on September 11, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Primrose Funeral Service, 3901 N Flood Ave., Norman, OK 73069, US, on September 12, 2026, at 10:00 am.

Final resting place will be at Norman I.O.O.F. Cemetery, 1913 N. Porter Ave., Norman.
