He was born on March 14, 1928, in Paint Rock, Alabama. He is preceded in death by wife of 63 years, Lorena Cagle; one granddaughter, Nina Cagle. He is survived by his children, Janie Johnson, Gary and Doris Cagle, Rick and Tracy Cagle, Barbara and George Wangler, and Donald and Janie Cagle; and two sisters, Florence Cagle, and Peggy Whitt. He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren, and twenty one great grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
