I will forever cherish the memories of our childhood. The many times we walked down the Shreveport Highway to one another's homes to play. The times we spent at ball games, Jane playing and me cheering on the sidelines. A friend for life, Love Alice Dell

Thank You everyone for your thoughts and prayers. My Aunt Jane was most certainly a very special lady, a true Lady in the truest sense of the word. Whip smart, very strong, self reliant, practical, wise, determined, but a soft spoken, straight arrow, gentle, kind, very generous, and very understanding. She was one of my strongest role models growing up. Everyone loved her and wanted to be like her. There was no other like her in the world. My Aunt, my mama’s youngest sister, my other mother. ❤️🙏🏻

My precious sister Jane (Henderson) Roane: This information is for family and for all who knew and loved her and called her their friend. She had a strong faith in God. She believed in His promises. She had a beautiful smile and she was gentle and kind and sweet and loving and giving and smart and successful and strong and determined to do her best in every aspect of her life. Her greatest joy was to motivate and help others. Both Lynn Jordan and I thank God that He chose Jane to be our sister. Her closing signature to every letter, note, and card was “Love and prayers, Jane.” Today I send my Love and Prayers to Jane and to her family who meant the world to her. In my view, she was truly one of God’s angels.
