Those left to cherish her memory are children: Cathy and Harland Snodgrass of Norman, Oklahoma, Brad and Chris Klein of Norman, Oklahoma, Candice Lambert of Norman, Oklahoma and Skeeter and Neva Lambert of Sunbury, Ohio; and numerous nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and three little dachshunds.
She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne Lambert; parents; brothers, Mike and David Broyles; and sister, Judith Brumly
Jean lived an exciting life as a wife of a rancher and horseman. Years later an opportunity to work with the Six Flags Corporation took them to Missouri, Kansas, California and Maryland. Wanting to establish more roots they moved to Texas and built a horse training center and then a final move to Oklahoma.
Throughout the years Jean’s excellent work ethic positioned her in to executive positions in the corporate world retiring from Norman Regional Health System after 30+ years.
She was passionate about politics, immensely supported her country and political party and appears on a plaque at the Edwards Center in Washington DC. She also supported charities true to her heart such as Wounded Warriors, Disabled Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America and many neglected animal agencies. She was passionate about her beliefs and walked the talk. Jean remained in contact with friends from all her travels and work
Both she and her husband were active members of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star Lodge for over 40 years.
Her strength in life came from her faith in God and the principles of the Word. Jean never complained of life’s trials and tribulations even after family losses and numerous health issues. She saw the world as an opportunity to do great and be great and instilled those lessons in her children. She lead by example the power of a good work ethic, sensitivity to the less fortunate and make a difference every day to someone or something. Her children were her best friends and she enjoyed their company at every opportunity.
She will be missed every day of our lives. We love you to the moon and back mom!
Cathy, Chris, Candice and Skeet
