She was born December 9, 1925 in Meeker, OK to William A. “Bill” and Sylvia (Sims) Duggan. On August 16, 1941 in Reno, NV she married Jesse O. Butler.
Juanita loved to square dance but above all she loved working in her many flower gardens. For some time she was involved in an Iris Club and a Cactus Club.
Survivors include her son: Gerald “Speed” (Theresa) Butler of Norman; grandchildren: Erin Houser of Austin, TX, G.A. (Diane) Butler of Blanchard, Jessica (Chris) Blanton of Honolulu; great-grandchildren: Hunter, Harrison, Evan, Makensie, Shelby, Anna, Jenna, Ethan, Grayson; brother-in-law: Ray Butler; sister-in-law: Evelyn Ball; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Rita Carol Butler; friend and companion: Edward Tennison.
Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday June 25, 2015 at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave. Norman, OK. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday June 26, 2015 at Primrose Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will be at Norman I.O.O.F. cemetery. Pastor Robert Foos will officiate.
