

Kenneth E Callahan, 72, went to be with Jesus on June 20, 2026. He was born on August 26, 1953, in Mena, Arkansas, to Lou Ella and Herman “Corkey” Callahan. He graduated from Mena High School and moved to Norman, Oklahoma, in 1974, where he built a life marked by steady devotion to family, faith, and community.
Kenneth retired from General Motors in 2005, closing a chapter defined by years of dependable work and commitment. Beyond his career, he carried a deep appreciation for the wider world. He loved to travel and experienced almost every state and over 64 countries, an enduring reflection of his curiosity, gratitude, and the joy he found in seeing new places and experiencing different cultures.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Kien Callahan; daughter Kristin Aguilar and husband Garrett; daughter Brandolyn Callahan; grandchildren Henley Callahan, Iliana Aguilar, Isabella Aguilar, and Savanna Aguilar; brother Tommey Callahan and wife Lisa; sister Betty Collinsworth and husband Burl; sister Lynda Conart and husband Jerry, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Lou Ella and Corkey Callahan; daughter Amanda Callahan, and niece Tinker Hampton.
Visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Service, 3901 N Flood Ave., Norman, OK 73069, on June 24, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Primrose Funeral Service on June 25, 2026 at 10:00 with burial following at IOOF Cemetery, 1913 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071.
