Larry loved taking pictures and you could see his view of life through the pictures he took, if he would let you see them. He was fascinated by pipe organs and photographed them often. His father taught him to love classical music and that everything else was garbage but he loved all kinds of music. He loved to travel, especially cruise ships. As a child, his favorite things were swimming and riding his bike, which he did for hours, especially when he lived in Hampton, VA. He knew everyone’s names in the neighborhoods they lived in. He drew very detailed sketches from memory. He also loved 1970’s disaster movies and campy TV shows. Larry worked at the Norman Red Lobster for 27 years and loved to tease with his coworkers.
Larry was a long time resident of ABLE group home 1. We appreciate the care and support he was given while he was there.
