Cancer is a thief. It steals a person of their focus, their ability to carry on with their life and then their dignity. September 22 at 7:45 p.m. Larry lost this battle with Plasma Cell Leukemia.
Our life was an adventure and we traveled and created memories in so many places; England, France, Italy and of course, the cabin that we both loved. We followed the trail of Lewis and Clark, hiked Mt. Rushmore, and so many wonderful places in California, Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Washington, and I'm sure spots forgotten at the moment. He was much loved. He held in his heart each grandchild, his children and mine and our extended family. He held on for his 85th birthday and celebrated with the dearest of friends and our family. He was a treasure and will be missed forever. An ocean of tears will not bring him back for if they could he would be here.
