I remember a time when I was yet a child. My father love airplanes and watching him build balsam wood models that we would go fly at the corn fields in the Sepulveda dam basin area.  I remember he would spend winter time cutting the pieces and building the airplane from scratch with just sheets of wood and plans.   Then dope the paper and cover the Fuselage and wings set an a motor and a gas tank on the radio controls then we would go out to the airport at the cornfields and non-windy day and launch and fly the radio controlled airplanes and when we weren’t flying we were watching other people fly their models.  This is we’re my love of airplanes started.   Later it would become my career. I am a 40+ year aircraft mechanic today. 

I worked security at the center he stayed at he was such a nice man loved helping him fish at the dock so many cool story’s will be deeply missed! 

I remember Lee. I have so many I don't know where to start. I guess the best one is when I married his brother in law. He and his wife insisted they go with us to make sure we got married. They refused to let us rest or get anything to eat until after we got married. 
As Art always said, he was  slow thinking, vinegar drinking. He always told me he was going to live to be 100. Even with all the medical problems he had I was sure he would make it. You came as close as you could Lee. God bless you and give you the rest you so deserve. Good bye my friend.

I remember my father taking me to the side a little House on the Prairie and watching filming as he worked. I also remember spending the last time with him at the VA in the home for veterans and Norman we shared my old memories and good laughs and took this picture. One of my most favorite cherished memories was the time we flew a kite that we built at Sepulveda down in Los Angeles and won a kite flying contest together.  Father and son moments.  He taught me love patients kindness and many more things I know I tested every bit of those things with him. I will miss him but I know he is safe and sound in gods hands and with his wife once again in heaven. I remember him spending time building a treehouse. 

When I was a younger boy my father would take us to the local radio control airport and we would watch the airplanes fly. We will build kites and fly them even when contests with them for highest flying. This man taught me love kindness patience and much more. I will miss him dearly.

Our families have known each other for well over 50+ years. Growing up just a block apart in Reseda, Ca. My favorite memory of your mom and dad were the daily walks they took in the evenings with their dog. Norene always always smiling and quick to laugh, Lee always made time to stop and visit.
