Linda Carol Barrios

Linda Carol Barrios passed away on September 30, 2020 at her home in Norman, Oklahoma. Daughter of Lester Jack and Violet Faun Wilson, she was born February 16, 1954 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was a lifelong resident of Norman and graduated from Norman High School. After high school, she pursued a career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Over the years, she cared for patients at Central State Hospital, Norman Regional Hospital, and the Veteran’s Center. She treated her patients with kindness and gentleness, always showing them the upmost care and respect.

She loved her family and animals with her whole heart. Her four children were the joys of her life, and she always made sure they were cared for and loved. She adored her cats and had compassion for all living things.

Survivors include her sons, David Harrington of Norman, OK and Randy Barrios of Allenspark, CO; daughter, Amanda Lee and husband, Brandon, of Shawnee, OK; a brother, Marc Wilson and wife, Debra, of Norman, OK; a sister Jan Merchant and husband, Jamal, of Norman, OK; 5 grandchildren Dakota, Trevor, Logan, Lennon, Daniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Stephen.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 6, at Sunset Memorial Park in Norman, Oklahoma.
