
Linda Anne Hinojosa George was born in New Orleans on June 29th 1933. She passed away peacefully in her home on Monday April 21st. Linda was beautiful, vivacious, fun-loving, brave, adventurous and well-traveled, but was always happiest at home with her family. She was a consummate hostess, an accomplished cook and had a multitude of interests throughout her life. Linda kept herself busy entertaining, gardening, decorating, creating beautiful pieces of art, crafting, crocheting, cooking, and volunteering for various organizations including the Norman Historical Society. She was a long time member and officer of various garden clubs including the Flora Belles. Later in life, she joined the Red Hats and lent her incomparable style to the group. Above all, Linda was devoted to her family and friends. She was well loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah A. Veal, her son Thomas J. Clay IV, her grandchildren, Ami Pendley Noble, Sarah Pendley Hughes, Paul Pendley, Denise Breland, and Daniel Clay, her great grandchildren Jade Ngo, Arwen Hughes, Jackson Hughes, Laurel Hughes, and Grant Hughes, her siblings Nora Hinojosa White, Camelia Hinojosa, and Richard Hinojosa. She was preceded in death by her husband A. Darrell George and her brother Raphael Hinojosa.
