Lloyd Woodson Smith

Lloyd Woodson Smith passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 47. Lloyd was born on October 18, 1978, in Inverness, Florida, to Starr (McKenzie) and Louis Seward. He was raised in Homosassa, Florida, alongside his brothers, Herschel and Russell. He graduated with the Crystal River High School Class of 1997.

Lloyd’s greatest accomplishment was his two sons, Colby Smith and Tyler Smith, who meant so much to him. He will be deeply missed by the many family members and friends who loved him dearly.

A devoted sports enthusiast, Lloyd found genuine enjoyment in the excitement and traditions of the games he loved. His passion extended beyond the scoreboard, as he took pride in collecting sports memorabilia and remained a loyal fan of his favorite athletes and teams, including Michael Jordan, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Florida Gators football.

Lloyd is survived by his son Colby Smith; son Tyler Smith; father Louis Seward; brother Herschel Smith and Donna Jacobs; brother Russell Smith and wife Christa; step children Jeremiah and Trinity Jacobs; nieces and nephews Skye Robinson, Corey Smith, Julie Smith, Shelby Smith, Evan Smith, Justin Smith, Trevor Smith; along with his extended family and friends.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his mother Starr Brewer.

Lloyd’s final resting place is Sunset Memorial Park in Norman, Oklahoma.
