

Loren E. Standridge, 80, of Noble died on March 30, 2010 in Norman. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Primrose Chapel. Interment will follow at the Noble IOOF Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Primrose Funeral Service from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, April 2, 2010. Services are under the direction of Primrose Funeral Service. Mr. Standridge was born on November 12, 1929 in Gray Horse, Oklahoma to Andrew and Mary Standridge. He was one of 13 children. He married Mary, on February 20, 1964.
Mr. Standridge worked as a welder and a quality control inspector for 42 years. He was a proud member of Oklahoma High Steel.
He loved to be outdoors and enjoyed going hunting and fishing. He loved his dog, Belle, and he loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Mr. Standridge is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Doyle Standridge, Pruitt Standridge, Noel Standridge, John Standridge, Inez Norton, Goldie Harrison and Ilene Homan. He is also preceded in death by one son, Kenny Standridge and one granddaughter, Lisa Marie Coleman.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Ronnie Standridge, Gary Standridge and wife Joan, Lewis Standridge, Loren Dewayne and wife Kristal; one daughter, Sherry Monson and husband Rick; one brother, Leonard Standridge; one sister, Reba Santmyer; grandchildren, Kandi, Ronnie Jr., Timmy, Janice, Patrick, Tawana, Jake, Joey, Crystal, Josh, Noah and Nathan; daughter-in-law, Teresa Standridge; nine great-grandchildren.
