Loretta Brown

Loretta Janiel Brown was born on October 7, 1958, in San Diego, California. She was the daughter of Paul Edward and Fern Janiel (Arnold) Privett. She grew up in Oklahoma attending Public Schools in Oklahoma. She married Charles “Chuck” Brown on June 29, 1984, in Texas and they made their home in Fort Worth, Texas, where they were in the home construction business together. They moved to Norman six years later and continued in the construction business, and she also worked as a cook in the food service industry. They moved to rural Tecumseh, Oklahoma, in 2014. She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, cooking, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of thirty five years, Charles “Chuck” Brown of Tecumseh; two daughters, Katie and Christie; and one son, Rusty; one brother, Mike Privett; three sisters, Paula, Donna, and Annie; eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016, at 2:30 pm, at the Primrose Funeral Service Chapel, with Deacon Jeff Willard officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.
