Margaret Loyce Kear was born January 20, 1934, to Charles Walter and Ola Lodoski (Deen) Conkling west of Norman. Mrs. Kear died Thursday, June 6 in Norman.
Margaret grew up in Norman. She married Richard Hubert Kear, Jr., on November 15, 1951 in Pink, Oklahoma. They lived in California for ten years before moving back to Norman. She was her husband’s administrative assistant in his business, Kear’s Construction. She was his true partner and friend by accompanying him on all of his life’s adventures. She was a volunteer at church for many years. She opened her home many times to those who did not have a place of their own. She was a caregiver to children and the elderly. Most importantly she was a homemaker; her family was her life and she lived for her family. She cared for her mother-in-law over ten years. All of her family’s success is because of the love she gave them. She lived the life of the woman from Proverbs 31.
