Marilyn Yvonne Henry passed away August 4, 2026 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 84. She was born January 12, 1942 in Lexington, Oklahoma to parents Fletta and Willie Henry. Marilyn was raised alongside her sisters Virginia, Geneva, Joyce and her twin sister Carolyn. She graduated with the Lexington High School class of 1961.
Marilyn earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. She went on to work in administration for the University until her retirement.
Marilyn spent most of her spare time working on genealogy and ancestry for the Henry family. She was an active member and volunteer of the Oklahoma Genealogy Society, a woman of faith, and a member of the Westside Church of Christ of Norman.
Marilyn was devoted to her sisters, nieces, and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and will be missed dearly by all who loved her and had the pleasure of knowing her.
Marilyn is survived by her sister Geneva Mainord and husband C.J.; sister Carolyn Heath and husband Harold; along with her nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; sister Virginia Rinehart and husband R.B.; and sister Joyce Clark and husband Clifford.
