Marilyn Jean Miller of Noble, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on November 13, 1939, in Yale, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Oscar W. Bryant and Naomi Faye (Simpson) Bryant.
Marilyn graduated from Midwest City High School and went on to take several business classes. She lived in Midwest City and Del City before eventually settling in Noble to be closer to her daughter. She was a longtime member of the Southern Baptist Church in Del City.
She proudly worked as a secretary at Tinker Air Force Base and took great pride in her years of service there. A woman of many talents, Marilyn also enjoyed writing short stories for the newspaper and was skilled in tole painting.
Marilyn married the love of her life, Dallas Miller, with whom she shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories until his passing in November 2024.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, a sunny 70 degree day, spending time with her beloved husband and family, listening to show tunes and The Beatles, or sharing laughter with her grandchildren while watching Leave It to Beaver. Her favorite color was blue, and she had a unique gift for sharing fascinating facts and knowledge on all kinds of topics.
Above all, Marilyn will be remembered as a kind, caring, and loving woman. Her deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren, was evident in everything she did.
She is survived by her daughter, DeAnna Grace Bass and her spouse, James, of Noble; three grandchildren, Kyle Eldredge, Megan Mascorro, and Kayla Watson; and three great-grandchildren, Zoey Mascorro, Hailey Mascorro, and Lydia Eldredge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Naomi Bryant; her beloved husband, Dallas Miller; and her brother, John Bryant; her sisters, Carolyn Bryant and Judy Nettleton.
Marilyn will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26th at 2:00 p.m. at the Primrose Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Steve Iverson officiating. A private family graveside service will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City.
