Mary Kathryn (Kay) Boswell was born to Gaylord and Mildred Ward on October 26, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kay graduated from Midwest City High School in 1957. She was a Midwest City cheerleader that met an OU Ruf Nek that she married. Kay and (Bill) William E. Boswell, Jr. married on August 9th, 1958
She obtained her BS in Home Economics Education from the University of Oklahoma in 1971. She taught Home Economics at Moore-Norman Vo-Tech and Mid-America Vo-tech. She was an award winning artist, seamstress and quilter. She was an active bridge player and a member of the Rose Rock Antique club of Norman. She was a most beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.
Kay is survived by her husband of 63 years, William E. Boswell, Jr. and her children; Jackie Davis and husband, Richard Davis of Amarillo, TX, William E. Boswell, III; Grandsons, Chris Davis and William Davis of Norman, OK.
Private services will be held at Primrose Funeral Home in Norman, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
