Mary Kay Eldridge passed from this life on June 7, 2019 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 13, 1943 to William Carpenter and Lucille (Francis) Carpenter. When she was very young she moved to Orlando, Florida.

The last seven years of Mary Kay's life were among the most active and happy. She and Bill Carmack renewed a friendship of 30 years ago and became beloved partners in the home they bought in Norman. They traveled extensively by long car trips which were her favorites and by cruise ships which were Bill's. They drove the length of the West Coast from California to Washington state. And the next year they drove the East Coast from Orlando to Charleston, spending several days in her beloved Smokey Mountains. They visited her very special grandson, Will, in Tennessee and made numerous other trips. She tolerated the cruises in between.

Mary Kay loved nature in every form. She kept rescue dogs and loved watching the National Geographic Channel in the evening. She will be sorely missed by loving human friends, the birds she fed, wild rabbits she tamed, her dogs and Bill.

Mary Kay is preceded in death by her parents and her two siblings, Bill and Virginia. Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Rob Pacetti of Wisconsin, and Shelli Erwin along with her family in Arizona, her grandchildren Ashley, Will, Easton, Tyler. Bill Carmack of Oklahoma, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in her honor Thursday 06/20/2019 at 2:00PM at Primrose Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Second Chance Animal Shelter.

Mary Kay (“Marsie”) was a beloved friend for 40+ years. She was loyal to her friends and stayed in touch over the years. Memories abound as we raised our children. Marsie loved her Lord above all and looked forward to spending eternity in HIS presence. Rest In Peace my dear friend!
