Nellie Mae Annesley, 95, was born December 11, 1930, in Gore, Oklahoma, to Lucy (Hicks) and Enola Buster, and passed away July 13, 2026. A longtime Oklahoma resident, she lived in Norman all her life and was a devoted housewife and mother, giving steady care and attention to her home and family.
On December 20, 1969, she married Loyd Annesley in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. In the years that followed, Nellie built a life defined by constancy, duty, and quiet strength, centered on the daily work of nurturing and providing for those she loved.
Nellie is remembered with respect and gratitude as the mother of William Lee Alfred, James, Henry, Mary Lou, and Shirley Mae; grandmother to many, as well as a sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many who loved her.
