Odette Rita Barthelemy was born on May 6, 1923, in Grand Isle, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Landry Renoix Barthelemy Jr., and Adele (Sylve) Barthelemy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Renois Landy Barthelemy, Alvin C. Barthelemy, and Emmett Joseph Barthelemy; and two sisters, Lydia Barthelemy Crosby, and Vietta Mazie Barthelemy Hughes.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, and great grand nieces and great grand nephews.
