Pamela (Pam) Keller, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Margaret, Texas, Pam spent much of her childhood in Snyder, Texas, where much of her family still resides. She later moved to Moore, Oklahoma, where she graduated from high school and met the love of her life, Ronnie Keller.
Pam always dreamed of having a large family, but due to medical challenges, she wasn’t able to have many children of her own. Instead, she built a family through the deep, loving connections she fostered with close friends, coworkers, and anyone in need of a mom or sister. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and she welcomed countless people into her heart and home, making them feel like family.
She was known for her warm and nurturing spirit, often saying, “Love you, baby,” a phrase that became her signature. Brittany’s friend, Ashley, fondly shared, “She raised me into my thirties,” a sentiment echoed by many of Pam’s adopted family members, from her workplace at Homeland Grocery to her extended circle. Pam also became "Grandma Pam" to the adopted grandchildren from Cristie’s and Linda’s families, embracing them with the same love and care she showed everyone.
Friends and colleagues remember her as a steadfast and caring presence, always there to offer help during hard times. Her legacy of love, compassion, and generosity touched countless lives and will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Pam is survived by her devoted husband, Ronnie Keller; her cherished daughter, Brittany Keller Pope and her spouse, Matt Pope; her loving mother, Mary Smith; mother-in-law Cathy Keller; her brother, Rod Payne; sisters, Linda Benge and Melba Cardwell; numerous nieces and nephews; many cousins and extended family; and her Homeland Grocery family, who will always carry her memory in their hearts.
Pam will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her legacy of kindness and love lives on in the lives of those she touched.
A visitation for Pam will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service.
