Patricia "Lorene" Cook passed away peacefully with her son Edward at her side in Fort Worth Texas September 15, 2026 at the age of 90. Lorene was a lifelong resident of Norman and will be buried at I.O.O.F. cemetery in a private graveside ceremony.
After raising three boys, she achieved a nursing degree and worked at Norman regional Hospital for 18 years.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Eddie" Cook and son Jerry Wayne Cook.
Patricia is survived by her son Thomas Cook; son Edward Cook, three grandsons Turner Cook, Payton Cook, and Matthew Bradley, four great grandchildren Vivian Cook, Bridgette Cook, Naomi Cook, and Clayton Cook.
