Patricia Stone

Patricia Ann Stone of Olathe, Kansas was born April 26, 1941 in Duncan, Stephens, Oklahoma. She was the fourth daughter of Jessie Calvin Brown and Olga Cleta Lewis. She died on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Olga Brown, her husband Darrel Gene Stone, their son David Gene Stone and three sisters, Ruth Stark, Joy Jay and Oma Sims. Pat is survived by her sister Vonanda Boynton of Victorville, California, two brothers Jesse Brown of Salinas, California, Harry Brown of Waco, Texas and her children Michele Stone of Paola, Kansas, Erik and Robin Reed of Overland Park, Kansas and Michael Darrel Stone of Lees Summit, Missouri. Pat has 7 grandchildren Tabitha Thornburg, Tyler Gallagher, Jared Thornburg, Devin Stone, Zachary Stone, Jacob Reed, Micheala Stonebreaker and 6 great grandchildren, Amelia Stonebreaker, Gavin Stonebreaker, Reid Stonebreaker, August Gallagher, Elexa Thornburg, and Kaiya Thornburg that love her dearly.

Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and attending their sports games and other activities. Family has always been a very important part of her life. She had a tremendous love for her Savior, Jesus Christ and read her bible daily, striving to live by its teachings.

Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00pm Sunday, Sept. 21,2014 at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 N. Porter, Norman, OK 73071. The funeral service will be 10:00am Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel, 2301 E. Indian Hills Rd. Norman, OK 73071. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
