

Patsy June Daniel (Pat) 87 went to be with the Lord on Saturday 31 October 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born 6 February 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Juanita and Henry Bishop. She was preceded in death by her mother Juanita age 99 and her father Henry. Patsy was an only child and grew up in Cleveland County and attended school in Norman and was a graduate of Norman High School.
Pat was married to Delbert Wayne Daniel of Norman, Oklahoma on 13 February 1951 and this union was blessed with 42 years of marriage until Delbert’s death in October 1993. They resided in Norman, Oklahoma throughout their marriage.
Patsy Daniel worked as a civilian government employee for the Oklahoma Military Department for 34 years in the Logistics Division of the Oklahoma National Guard. During this time she received numerous commendations for Outstanding and Superior performance in her position both from our country and the State of Oklahoma. In April 1989 she was awarded the Oklahoma Exceptional Service Medal from the State of Oklahoma. This award was presented to her by Oklahoma Governor George Nigh. She later retired from Federal Service in June 1989.
Pat as we like to call her was born again at the age of 16 and served Christ in many different capacities in her life. She was the church Secretary at the First Assembly of God in Norman, Oklahoma for eight years. Later on she attended Harvest Church in Norman and served as a church greeter and usher. During her life she was very active in the Angel Food Program helping to serve the community and ensuring people had enough to eat. Her greatest service to the Lord was her personal walk with Christ, her humble lifestyle, her desire to help others and being a mentor to young believers.
