Phillip O'neal Dulworth

Phillip O Dulworth died unexpectedly at the age of 70 at home in Norman, OK on Saturday, May 27, 2023. He was born on May 31, 1952 in Duncan, OK and was the son of the late Ruth Theriot and James Dulworth. He graduated in 1970 from the Velma-Alma High School. After high school he enlisted in the US Army and earned the rank of SSG.

SSG Dulworth was honorably retired from the US Army in 1990 after 20 years of military service in the Finance and Accounting field. SSG Dulworth served three tours overseas, Frankfort, Giessen and Rheinberg, Germany. In 1990, after retiring from the military, he started working as a Sorting and Handling Clerk for the United States Postal Service and retired after working there for over 18 years.

Phillip enjoyed cooking, barbecuing, fishing and watching professional football games.

Phillip is survived by two daughters, Jessica Klein, Norman, OK, Ashley Ndiaye, Martinsburg, WV, two sons, Travis Dulworth (Stashia) Crestview, FL and Elijah Dulworth, Middletown, MD, Brothers, Bill Dulworth (Caroline) Bobby Seymour, Gabriel Theriot, Jr. and sister Frankie Dulworth. Phillip will be remembered by many others, including his grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Services for Phillip will be honored at the National Arlington Cemetery in Virginia at a later date.”
