Randy Lee Prentice, 62, of McLoud, OK, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He was born on June 18, 1963, in Warren Ohio, to Leslie Prentice and Patricia McKelvey.
Randy was a man of quiet strength, deep wisdom, and unwavering love for his family. He lived his life with integrity, generosity, and a sense of humor that could lighten any room. Whether it was through his work, his friendships, or his role as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
He spent his career as a project lead at Lithko Concrete Contractor, where he was admired for his dedication and work ethic. But his proudest moments were always at home—raising a family that loved him deeply and carrying traditions that will live on through generations.
He is survived by his spouse, Toy Prentice; children, Danielle Prentice, Joseph Prentice, Duncan Prentice, and Ashley West; grandchildren, Timothy Prentice, Elijah Prentice, Ariana Ellis, Tyler West, and Bethany West; siblings, Kimberley Riley, Bobby Lumley, Butch Prentice, and Sarah Prentice—who will continue to honor his legacy by living with the same kindness and love that he showed every day.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care and support during his final days.
Though he may be gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts.
A celebration of life for Randy will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 N Porter Ave, Norman, Oklahoma 73071.
