Regina “Gina” Rae Neidel, 72, was born November 20, 1953, in San Diego, California, and passed away on September 8, 2026. A resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Gina will be remembered for the bright, steady spirit she carried into every season of life, meeting the world with an open heart, a hopeful outlook, and a quiet strength that lifted those around her.
Gina proudly served in the Air Force, a chapter of her life that reflected her resolve and sense of purpose. That same devotion showed in the way she loved faithfully, generously, and with a warmth that made family feel like home.
She shared her life in marriage with Charles Neidel, and her joy grew through her family: Michael Miska of Oregon; Jeff Tucker and his wife Keely of Oklahoma; and her brother, Richard Blanco of Utah. Gina was also blessed with 5 grandchildren, each held in her heart with unmistakable pride. And always close by were her cherished furbabies, Miley and Missy, who brought comfort, laughter, and companionship to her days.
Creativity was one of Gina’s truest languages. She loved to paint and to write poetry, giving color and meaning to moments both ordinary and profound. Music was another constant, especially Country and Western, which she listened to with the kind of appreciation that turns a song into a memory and a melody into a refuge.
Visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Service, 3901 N Flood Ave., Norman, OK 73069, on September 14, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will take place at Primrose Funeral Service on September 15, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Gina will be laid to rest at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd., Elgin, OK 73538.
Her life remains a gift, one that continues to echo in the love she gave, the beauty she created, and the enduring gratitude of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
