

Robert (Bob) Warren Naegeli, 78, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on October 17, 2025. Bob was born on September 7, 1947, in Grafton, North Dakota, to Harold Leland Naegeli and Jean Evelyn (McEwen) Naegeli.
Bob earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1972 and became a registered Professional Engineer in 1979. His career was marked by dedication, integrity, and excellence, culminating in his retirement from Tinker Air Force Base, where he served as a Senior Systems Engineer.
Born in North Dakota and later settling in Oklahoma, Bob lived a life full of love, laughter, and purpose. He was a proud member of Friendship Pentecostal Church and lived his faith daily, striving to be remembered as a Christian man who loved his family and friends deeply.
Bob married the love of his life, Vivian, on March 21, 2009, and together they shared 16 wonderful years. He cherished his wife, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, and his beloved pets, Skipper and Panther. His grandchildren and furry companions always brought a smile to his face.
Music filled Bob’s life, he especially loved gospel and classical music, and his favorite colors, blue and red, reflected his vibrant spirit. A perfect day for Bob was spent on the water, enjoying a good boat trip surrounded by those he loved.
From Bob, his family and friends learned lasting lessons about communication, teamwork, resilience, and the importance of appreciating the small moments. His proudest professional accomplishment was achieving and maintaining his status as a Professional Engineer, a title that reflected his lifelong commitment to learning and excellence.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Vivian; his children, Melissa Collins of Euless, TX, Sara (Kimberly) Schwab of Elk Grove, CA, and Kevin (Amber) Naegeli of Edmond, OK; and his stepchildren, Thomas (Laura) Kelleher of Horsham, PA, Jason Kelleher of Norman, OK, and Roshea (Johnny) Reininger of Midwest City, OK. He is also survived by his brother, Harold (Velora) Naegeli of Oklahoma City, OK; sister-in-law, Ellen Naegeli of Derby, KS; 20 cherished grandchildren, Natalie, Conner, Logan, Mason, Haylie, Sylvie, Nate, Owen, Aaron, Benjamin, Georgia, Maddox, JoyLynn, Luke, Evan, Clara, Jasmie, RyJan, Jarven, and Avalyn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Darryl Naegeli, of Derby, KS.
Bob will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his faith, his kindness, his humor, and his unwavering devotion to his family. His life was a testament to hard work, love, and grace, a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Friendship Pentecostal Church, located at 11301 SE 104th St., Oklahoma City, OK, 73101. The service is scheduled for November 21, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm.
