Born on May 4, 1964, in McPherson, Kansas, Roger was the son of Dessie and Dale Bellamy. Following his parents' divorce, Dessie married Carl F. Brewer, who lovingly adopted Roger and raised him as his own.
Roger attended school in Oologah, Oklahoma, and graduated from Chelsea High School in 1982. He was known for his strong work ethic, mechanical skills, and ability to fix just about anything. Roger especially enjoyed welding, tinkering in the yard, and working with his hands. He built a successful career in the waterworks industry and spent the last several years working for American WaterWorks in Norman, Oklahoma.
Those who knew Roger knew he never met a stranger. He had a gift for conversation and a natural talent for sales. Family and friends often joked that Roger could "sell ice to an Eskimo," a testament to his charm, wit, and friendly nature.
Roger had a special love for animals, especially his dogs, whom he considered family. His beloved companion, Tazzy, held a particularly special place in his heart. Their bond was so strong that Tazzy's ashes were mixed with his so they could remain together forever.
Roger also cherished time spent with family and friends. One of his favorite memories was rebuilding his parents' old riding lawn mower, a project that reflected both his mechanical talents and the joy he found in working alongside those he loved.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents Carl F. Brewer and Dessie M. Brewer, and sisters Rosie Huff and Dalene Brewer.
Roger is survived by his brother Carl R. Brewer and wife Darcy; lifelong friends Vernon and Tammy Anderson; and many other relatives, friends, coworkers, and neighbors who will miss his humor, kindness, and generous spirit.
Roger's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched through friendship, hard work, and his willingness to lend a helping hand. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
