Ronald "Ron" David Yancey age 70, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024. He was born in Conway, Arkansas on February 17th, 1954. Ron was preceded in death, by his parents William Clarence Yancey and Retha Mae (Moore) Yancey, by his brothers William "Chuck", Garland, Harley and Benny and by his sisters Margaret and Clotenne. Ron's family is at peace knowing he is reunited with his best friend Leo Mahan, riding Harley's and causing trouble together again! Ron was a hard working man who loved to farm and care for his animals. As a skilled welder he built trailers, smokers, picnic tables and other items for family and friends to enjoy. He is survived by his loving wife Talatha Yancey, his daughters, Pepper Yancey and Brandi Mahan (Brian). Ron was blessed with and so proud of his three grandsons: Ty Yancey, Bryce Mahan and Bo Mahan. He is also survived by many friends, and extended family that will miss him. Due to Ron's strong love of life, he requested no services. In lieu of, the family will be planting a tree on the land he loved so much. A place where family, friends and his dog lucky can visit him.
