Sharon Donna Clark

Sharon Donna Jones Clark, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on June 11, 1947, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Lloyd Jones and Gladys Jones Thompson.

Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose strength, honesty, and deep love for her family touched everyone who knew her. She shared nearly 53 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Gary Clark. Together they built a life centered around love, loyalty, family, and caring for others. Gary provided loving care and devotion to Sharon throughout her illness and final days.

Sharon loved country music and especially enjoyed listening to Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn, and Reba McEntire. She treasured time spent fishing, visiting friends, and spoiling her beloved “fur babies,” Princess and Duke. Her family remembers her as loving but straightforward, strong, hardworking, and always true to herself.

Those who knew Sharon learned from her the importance of respect, love, hard work, and inner strength. Above all else, she loved her husband, daughter, dogs, and family with all her heart.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Gary Clark; daughter April Lee and husband Mike; stepson Garret Clark and wife Tiffany; brother Gary Jones and wife Glenda along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Gladys Jones, and her son Ronnie E. Davidson.

Family and friends will gather for visitation 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Friday, May 29, 2026 at Primrose Funeral Service in Norman, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life service and reception honoring Sharon will be held 10:00 AM Monday, June 1, 2026 at Primrose with burial following at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
