Steve or Nargoe Billeye as the Band was called back in the early 80's will be missed. I played Lead guitar In the Nargoe Billeye band for several years and we played the best and worst gigs. I have many fond memories of playing with Steve he was a solid stand up guy. I don't remember him ever missing a Gig. I am sure he is present for that great Gig in the sky and making beautiful Music. Someone has to sing the White Street Blues up there. I had several favorite Steve Swim Originals but my all time Favs is "The One that Got Away" I still play that tune for People. I guess the Nargoe Billeye Reunion Gig will have to wait. Steve you will be missed

Rest In Peace, my friend.
Steve was the epitome of "cool"! I've had the honor of playing with Steve many times! Many gigs and recordings, of Steve's very original music. Steve taught me so much! Loved that guy from the first time I heard him, at The Deli, in 1980. We were fast friends and remained so ever since. Steve called me "MR. B"..... I always laughed at that! Steve was just the best! There is a big hole in the world, without Mr. Stephen Swim.
Steve Swim was my dear friend and I will miss him.
