Steven Holiday was born on December 29, 1954, in Los Angeles, California. He was the son of Willie Lee and Margurettie (Holiday) Strambler. He grew up in Midland, Texas, attending Midland Public School ad graduating from Midland High School in 1973. Following his education he began working in construction. In 2004 he moved to Norman. On February 14, 2011, he married Lola Levier in Norman, Oklahoma, and they made their home in Norman. He enjoyed cooking, smoking meat, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Lola Holiday of the home; two sons, Steven Holiday of Norman, Oklahoma, and Josh Cook of Texas; three step children, Alexis Levier, Issac Levier, and Charlie Hulbert of Norman; four grandchildren, Josiah Levier, Dominick Livingston, Darius Livingston, and Deondray Livingston; one sister, Deborah Busby-Pitzer of Norman; once niece, Suporah Busby of Norman; and five great nieces and nephews, Quintez Hawkins, Dionte Hawkins, Kamiko Busby, Jo Jo Hawkins, and Tajorna Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Johnny Loud, Rommie Loud, and Wilford Eldridge; and one grandson, Steve Livingston.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 11:00 am, at the Primrose Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
