Theodore Kaufman Krampf, Jr., (87), of Norman died September 29, 2024. His burial service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman at 10 am on October 10. Primrose Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Krampf was born January 28, 1937 in Olean, NY to Theodore and Margaret Seyller Krampf. He graduated from Nowata High School in 1955. He attended Westminster College in Fulton, MO and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1960 with a degree in Geological Engineering. At OU he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. After graduation he worked for Ray Geophysical in West Texas and North Africa. In 1967 he went to work for Cities Service Oil Company in Bartlesville, retiring from Occidental Petroleum in 1992. He had lived in Norman since retiring.
Mr. Krampf was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Sweeney Krampf and his parents Ted and Margaret Seyller Krampf.
He is survived by his sons Theodore Kaufman Krampf, III of Big Spring, TX and Michael Thomas Krampf of Singer Island, FL, and grandchildren, Brenna, Alan, Adam & Eric, and his great grandchildren, Sevyn, Sonny, Emerson, & Eloise.
