Wanda Mae Watkins, 84, of Norman, OK went to be with her Lord on July 4, 2022. She was born on September 22, 1937, to Cecil and Opal Hawkins in Miami, OK, where she grew up and attended school.
Wanda moved back to Norman, OK two and a half years ago after losing her sister. Her hobbies included reading, plastic canvas and visiting her friends at the apartments and loved going to church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Hawkins and Opal Maharry. Her sisters Rita Snyder, Nonnie Isaacs, Diane Dillion, Twyla Donnell, and Sandy Hilton. Her brothers Wiley, Gary and Harvey Hawkins. Her son Johnny Watkins and grand-daughter Megan Watkins.
She is survived by her daughter‘s Cynthia Lagasse and husband Chris Lagasse of St. Augustine, FL, Theressa Painter and husband Ed Painter of Norman, OK. Grandchildren Robbi Roberts of Norman, OK, Broc Roberts of Oklahoma City, OK and Sara Watkins of Muskogee, OK. A great-grandson August Wade White (Auggie) that will be born July 15, 2022.
