He was born March 23, 1936 in Lawton to Louis C. and Orah Collard. On February 2, 1999 he married Reda Jackson in Norman.
Bill proudly served his country with the United States Navy. He worked for Channel 5 as a cameraman and filmed the 1st Tornado near Blanchard on an old crank camera. He was a huge OU fan and enjoyed cooking. Above all he loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Reda of 19 years; children: Erica Collard, Rethia Mullinix, Steve (Angela) Collard, Joe Collard, as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday January 2, 2019 at Primrose Funeral Service Norman, OK. Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday January 3, 2019 at Bentley Cemetery in Atoka, OK.
