Zee was a awesome gentleman and friend. I enjoyed getting to know him at the OU softball tailgates. I will miss him so much and bringing me a pecan praline when he first arrived at the tailgates. Zee wanted to make sure I always got my piece.

I have loved, respected and admired Zee for many, many years. I practically grew up knowing Zee and enjoyed listening to his stories, whether it was about coaching softball or serving our Country, I loved how he could tell that story! I also loved watching how excited he was about his OU Sooners! Every time I went to a softball game I always looked to make sure Zee was in his front row seat ready to cheer on his girls. I will miss that, but I know he will still be watching!

Zee was a great friend, Democrat, and American hero! Loved his chewy pralings and his cooking for Democrats at our summer events. He will be greatly missed.

Zee relived stories of his bird dog and the adventures they had while we were sitting in his garage several weeks ago. He had a life well-lived. All will miss you, Zee. Godspeed....
