A traditional wake was held on Wednesday, September 21st and Thursday, September 22nd from the Veterans Hall in Poundmaker Cree Nation, Saskatchewan. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 23rd at 11:00 am from the Veterans Hall. Interment will follow the services at the Poundmaker Cemetery.
Chad is survived by his mother Hazel Fox; his loving partner Marilyn Frank; his loving children and grandchildren Tara (Lyle) Chloe, Liam, Kashtin and Xander, Nancy (Nathan) Owen, Emily, Jewel and River, Tanner, Jovan, Wyatt, Michael, Elektra, Echo, Essence and Eden; siblings Lorne (April), Doreen (Hinano), Patsy, Kristina (Duane), Sheila, Wayne (Gloria), Patrick and Peggy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and all who adored him.
Chad is predeceased by his father Joseph Edmund Waskewitch; son Joey McGillis; grandson Jodicy Gerald Henry Kennedy; grandparents Sam and Nancy Waskewitch and Edward and Margaret Gladue; nephews Warren Tootoosis and Levi Tootoosis.
The family has entrusted Martine de Bussac of Sallows & McDonald-Wilson & Zehner Funeral Home with the arrangements for Chadwick.
He was loved by many, he will be missed by all.
